The Good News is God’s Good News. Thus, when the Good News is preached, with both words and deeds, God’s power also shows up to reveal people’s hearts and bring them to a place of forgiveness and redemption. This can be a force to unify both the community of believers itself, and the believers with the larger community in which they live.
