Read Hebrews 4:14-16
So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most. Hebrews 4:16 (NLT)
Prayer is also our main weapon in resisting temptation. When we are tempted to do evil rather than good, we can go boldly to God in Jesus’ name to ask for strength to remain faithful to what we know is God’s will for us, or to ask for forgiveness if we have already fallen.
