Every one of us has a sinful nature, inherited from Adam, that leads us into all kinds of ungodly and antisocial thoughts and behaviors. But God, through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, has provided an alternative—life in the Spirit. As we let the Holy Spirit guide our lives, we can resist our sinful nature, and when we fail, we can turn again to God for forgiveness and renewal.
