Not only has God created us, and loved us so much that He gave His Son Jesus to die for our sins, but He also sends the Holy Spirit to enable us to believe that salvation through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus can be ours as a totally free gift, requiring no works of ours to earn it. In addition, the Holy Spirit calls and enables believers everywhere to be one in love for God, for each other, and for those who have not yet answered the Spirit’s call. May each of us listen to and follow the Spirit’s call on our lives today and every day.
