Read Acts 16:6-10
That night Paul had a vision: A man from Macedonia in northern Greece was standing there, pleading with him, “Come over to Macedonia and help us!” So we decided to leave for Macedonia at once, having concluded that God was calling us to preach the Good News there. Acts 16:9-10 (NLT)
Our assignment as Christians is clear — “Go into all the world …” (Matthew 28:19-20—the Great Commission). As a Christian, the Apostle Paul knew what to do, but the Spirit showed Paul where to do it, with whom, and in whose strength. The motivation to take the gospel beyond the Middle East into Europe came from a vision Paul had. To live our lives the same way, we should wake up every morning and pray “God, you’re in charge. Give me the courage to follow.”
