Read Psalm 51
Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Do not cast me from your presence
or take your Holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of your salvation
and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

Another prayer that delights God is the prayer of confession. Confession is one of the ways we recalibrate our lives to align again with God’s desire for us. Use confession to regain your faith and hope in God’s forgiveness, and to be empowered by His Spirit to make amends as needed.
