Sermon on the Mount – Worry

Read Matthew 6:24-34

“Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.” – Matthew 6:33-34 (NLT)

It’s very tempting to want to serve God through religious acts, but look out for ourselves when it comes to our physical needs. Here Jesus tells us that that will never work; we will inevitably end up on one side or the other, not straddling both. As we begin 2020, Jason gives examples of how we can keep our focus on being in God’s will, and trust Him to take care of those daily needs which Satan wants to keep in the front of our mind.
