Vision and Mission

The vision of Chicago Hope Church

We intentionally embrace the challenges of building a multi-cultural church among the poor in one of the most segregated cities in the United States. We believe that God has called us to pursue this vision in order to bring about further transformation of this community, from a place where only those who can’t afford to live anywhere else live, to a community that people long to belong because the supernatural love of God is on display and transforming people’s lives. We believe that this will only be accomplished as we devote ourselves to pushing beyond normal expressions of American Christianity and allowing ourselves to truly be led by God in sacrificial love and service to Him and one another. We trust by faith that God will use our lives to bring this about for His Glory and the redemption of His people.

Connecting people to loving God, loving others, and serving the world

Our mission is to connect people in Chicago and beyond in real loving relationship with God through Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit, with each other in contagious Christian community, and with their calling of servanthood in the world.
